Heres some photos that I have taken over the last few years while I was a passenger on various aircraft. No time for taking photos when flying :P

We ended up getting turned around a couple of times. Township of Rarangi.

Leaving Kaikoura after a very enjoyable NZAWA rally

The weather closed in on us really quickly around Clarence and we were about to make forced landings several times but the cloud opened up enough to get us through to the sounds where the cloud base was quite high. There was never any real danger to us or the aircraft. We were talking to Woodbourne all the time and there is miles and miles of beach to the north of Kaikoura to land on.

Another day, another flight back from Omaka on a lovely Friday afternoon. Right hand circuit for runway 16. This time in a PA38

Thats a good thing about being able to do training around the Waikato, all sorts of obscure airstrips....... NZES (Wharepapa South) is a fav, first you must find it, then once youve found it, getting in and out is fun, it is possible, but if you do performance calculations, they will always say you cant get in or out........ an anomaly some would say...

Cheers, I was over in Omaka a couple of days ago and it was one of those times where I wish I wasnt busy flying so I could take some more. It was such a fantastic day over there.
