Wings Over Wairarapa

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Wings over Wairarapa was great today, perfect weather, hot and still, high clouds and big crowds. Of the 400+ photos I took I have 50 or so I would like to share, I'll split these up as its quite a bunch and our friends on dial-up wouldnt cope if they are all together. Hope you like them.

It was my favorite of the show Alex  , man did it come in fast on its first run, I was lucky to get the shots I did, must have been awesome to be flying the thing so fast and low

Corsair looks pretty stunning. Just as well you flew in, instead of driving, huh!

Yeah, twas a real blessing given what happened with the hill road. Poor buggers having to go via palmy north.

It must be rather nice to have a 750mph ASI in front of you... :)

*sigh* I'm in love with a plane  The more I look at the corsair photos and remember the display and beats-ups, such a unique aircraft and like all the others at the show, so well looked after.
