A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Hello,

Following from my previous thread about the 2006 school (see this thread - http://z11.invisionfree.com/nzff/index. ... topic=1303), I visited on the open day on Sunday the 22nd. Below are a few shots that I took, there weren't too many varieties as most people were at the Wings over Wairarapa show. Still a good few hours at the school though!

Yeah, awesome pic of the Tecnam there Keagan   I knew it was up north, but I didn't know where. So what happened at this open day? The new students got a look round the airfield and some aeroplanes? Did you go flying?

Not quite sure what you mean there?

The open day was just a day that is open to the families of the students and also anyone who is interested. There are a few flying displays, and lotsa fly in's. I was meant to fly in from AR, but the weather on between AR and MA, wasnt that great so we decided to make a road trip of it lol. Saw a few mates there and caught up with people from the last school too, the one I was at.
