Hey guys
Using a kit of the venerable Harvard as a base, I've made a model of the Alpine Fighter Collection's former Zero Replica.

For some more pics and to see what I used to make this lil beaut, take a look here. Next up is a model of the F4U-1A "Birdcage" Corsair.

As far as I know, this is the first model done of the Harvard-based conversion. If you've seen the film Tora, Tora, Tora then you've seen one of these in action.

All comments greatly appreciated.

Lookin really cool dude, but the colour of the the "286" on the tail looks a bit sketchy.

I'm looking forward to your corsair though!

Cheers dude. Yeah, the 288 is a bit dodge - I used my girlfriend's red sudoku pen to do the insides. Not the best, I know. I may do it again if I can ever get around to doing customer decals.

I'll be starting the Birdcage tomorrow, so I'll keep you posted with updates etc!
