Just to say that I'll be uploading my new Hauraki Gulf scenery to Avsim today. Replaces my previous Pakatoa Scenery....no beach bods, though, but you can get these from another source.

Thanks, Goff.

Been waiting for a chance to fly my G44 in to visit Mansion House.

Looks as though I will have to reinstall LandClass Assistant and take care of the deforestation in the area, though. winkyy.gif

So that it looks something like this:

Oooer..did I put too many trees there? Or didn't the 'exclude' file work? Please...I am open to suggestions...we aim to please, so to speak.

As a footnote...Hauraki is becoming a potential nightmare...each time I complete a little pocket of scenery, something else comes my way. It will be an ongoing project, with more island candy and destinations to come - great for floatplanes and helicopters.

Cheers,
Goff

Nope; not enough. winkyy.gif I have Christian's NZ Topo and LandClass installed and Kawau Island has an approximate total of two dozen trees (certainly not how I remember it from the early 80s when I sailed the Gulf and, more recently, 2004). It is a lush, tree clad island which I have tried to replicate with my replacement LandClass (Dense Evergreen Forest) file. Your "model" of Mansion House and environs is spot on, so there's no need at all to "aim to please". laugh.gif
