Thanx for the HU Mike , I should look at this , my first impression of the earlier Blue pack was little disappointing in around the heavy populated areas , the Gold coast is everyones fav spot :)

Yeah ive had the same issues really with traffic not anyway near the roads and the citys are pretty normal to me ,but this is why im doing lots of scenery there at the moment to give it some more use ,
the good things are that it covers so much land with some really nice textures "bonus" and is a great base to work off 4 sure ..
i did think gold would cover more land but i suppose that will be for the next color they choose "red"pink, yellow who knows

Is it like VOZ? Where you have to VOZ different regions, and quit FS if you're flying from one regions to another? Gets annoying fast.

Nah not this time around its very much like going over godzone scenerys with out buildings and you see weird bits here and there ,but they are just replacment landclass photoreal tiles /coastline,etc no VOZing the different parts like the fs2004 freeware versions
checkout the screens in this topic http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6813and here http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6171and here http://nzff.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6143
pretty much like the pictures shown in those topics and this gold versions alittle greener ,well worth it if you fly OZ

OK, so why do you have to turn it on or off? Does it change the autogen houses to Ozzy ones, and replace the default landclass to look like australia? If so, then how can different versions run at the same time, because there's going to be a green and red version. Green has green textures and the red has red desert textures

Does this make sense? I kinda don't know how to say it.

Well i still dont own the second copy yet so i dont know what its going to be like ,but as far as i know so far the Orbx has gone and replace landclass tiles and have done so again with different areas blue /gold ,im really not in this department of stuff but from what ive seen there is no Voz switcher this time around ,i guess they have worked out with the new version how not to effect the world with red textures ,
look i could be way wrong on how it all works now with FTX, but still i dont care if i had to use a switcher because i wouldnt have to restart with the new and improved FSX ,i can just load the area if indeed i had to and carry on with my flight inflight ,
someone else would be better to answer this question at the moment till i buy my copy of it but thats like two weeks away ,i still at the end of the day think it would be a good buy to go side by side with blue FTX if you fly across the tasman abit

I've got Blue, and as soon as I get my broadband back (pesky download limits) I'm going to be buying Gold. Best Scenery I've seen yet for Aussie.

Hopefully not, my friend is buying my old comp of me in a month and a half. Then might have to take out a loan with parents of brother. Unless he wants it then I won't have to pay him back. Hopefully!
