This notice is to quickly summaries the multiplayer fly-in plans we have for the weekend. We purposely chosen to not enforce a strict set of rules, only provide a brief guideline to maximize freedom and enjoyment.
The server will be running from now onwards (Thursday 17th April) until the morning of Monday 21st.
Throughout the morning and afternoon of Saturday 19th April, members must log on to the server from any airport they wish, using one of the four specified aircraft listed, either the Mustang, Fletcher, Tiger Moth or Seasprite, then fly towards Paraparaumu (NZPP), making a full stop landing not before 1600 hours (4.00pm) that day.
From 4.00pm, we will converge on the airport, landing one after enough, then parking up on the main northern apron, have a chat, perhaps fly a few circuits or formations together, show off some aerobatic performances, hold a race to another destination, or do whatever we feel like at the time!
Communication will be kept through the Flight Sims channel on Teamspeak, using the Inspire server ‘teamspeak.inspire.net.nz’. As no Air Traffic Control will be operation, pilots are asked to state their position to other airmen every few minutes to avoid collisions, and establish a landing pattern. Even if you don’t have a microphone to talk to others with, log on to Teamspeak so you can listen in to the ATC chatter.
Real World weather must be used to allow everyone to have the wind blowing in the correct direction, meaning the same runway will be active for everyone. (Runway 34 as of latest METAR NZPP 182300Z 18025KT 15KM VCSH FEW017 SCT025 BKN038 09/06 Q1018 TEMPO 4000 +SHRA). This can be selected in the main weather screen of FS9/FSX.
Make sure your framerates are locked under 25 per second for optimum performance, and use your forum username for the player name in the multiplayer log on screen and on teamspeak.
Also, under the 'Client Settings' menu, make sure that your port selections are set to default (23456). This is very important- if they are set otherwise, other members will be unable to log on!
The Server details are as follows:

Tell all your simming friends to come along to our big birthday bash, as always- the more the merrier!
If you have any further questions, please post them here
