Well I wouldn't have complained if RealNZ Marlborough had won, but St Maarten does have a charm all of its own.
Biggest question is; Do you keep
this shot:

or that:

Just some fun with the freeware Overland MD-11.

Shot 2 I think - the guys with the cameras have got a lens full & that guy on the bike isn't going to stay up! Seen the topless girls over at St Barthelemy!? Yep St Maarten is amazing!

Only the one that looks like she died with her boots on...
turns out the strip is just enough for a Mooney at max weight.

It's hard to capture the sense of how steep the approach is - in your screenshot, if you didn't know the aircraft was nose-down, what, 30deg? you'd assume it was just flying on down the road.
I'll confess I hadn't explored the scenery beyond Juliana too much, so was the first time for me.
Thanks for the backlink, some good shots there.
See the airliners.net links have a BN Islander, wonder if it can get out up the hill fully laden?

The only (slightly unfair) gripe I have is that when I downloaded a BMW and tried to drive around St Barthelemy Island, My can sunk below the road sad.gif This was especially bad on the road behind the 152. But hey, It's FLIGHT simulator.. laugh.gif
