It will also be linked from www.flightsim.co.nz in the near future.

This release features photoreal textures, two small airstrips, full autogen, numerous default library objects including animated dolphins a few hundred metres off the west shore of the Island.

Ive also included a saved flight so you can go dolphin watching- The flight starts in an R22, youll need to start up, take off and head a couple of hundred metres west to see the dolphins.

Enjoy!

What's causing that funny effect around the left coast in the first pic? Kinda stomped on...

Thats the resolution of the default terrain but with the sliders maxed- The sliders 'dumb down' the data when to the left....which would be good in this case as it would look like a gradual hill rather than a cliff. The actual terrain is a cliff there....but the default mesh isnt quite aligned properly and is too low a resolution to define the cliff properly. You can see each mesh 'pixel'- which is why the cliff looks to made of blocks.

I have them maxed to make full effect of higher resolution terrain in other areas.

Ah, understand. :) So with the 19 metre mesh it'll look more "cliffy"...

Love it! I used to spend a lot of time staying on Motiti when I was a kid.

Didn't someone say they were working on BOP towns as well?

Yeah i did.....but it is probably down the list since ive been given permission to release a new 'series' of photo real sceneries.....
The problem with releasing urban areas is the autogen....it takes a lot of time (and time isnt something i have at the moment)
Watch this space ;)
