On Flightsim this morning:

Name: nznv_invercargill_freeware.zip
Size: 65,320,088 Date: 04-19-2018 Downloads: 53

FSX/P3D Scenery--Invercargill Aerodrome NZNV, New Zealand. Invercargill is the medium-sized regional airport located at the southern end of New Zealand. It was built in 1938 on a land reclaimed from a nearby river, and was prone to flooding, until a system of open drains was created, which is represented in this scenery -- alongside the new terminal opened in 2016. This scenery has seasonal photo background and very accurate layout. Compatible with ORBX New Zealand, FSX, P3Dv3, and P3Dv4. Made by Dmitriy Kozyrev

I'll get it when I have some bandwidth to spare

Found it on Avsim this morning, the screenshots certainly look great within the FTX surrounds, and plenty of nice detail. However too many z-bias issues in Prepar3d v4, so doesn't work for me.

What do you mean by z-bias issues Rob?

I have it in P3D v4.2 and it seems to look fine as far as I can tell.

Oops, looking at it again it is behaving a lot better than yesterday --not too sure what the problem was, but I was getting flickering of roofs, as two different textures fought with each other. Today there's hardly any of that, except for a couple of places. This sort of flickering is quite common in P3Dv4, so a little is ok.

Well done, Dmitriy
The readme says this is for FSX/P3D with ORBX. I don't have P3D, or any ORBX stuff, but it comes up very well in FSX + VLC. It includes a couple of batch files to set up for the default mesh, and to make FTX Central behave itself.

Nice airport clutter

I'm glad it didn't show up in that awful fluoro green like the thumbnails on flightsim...I think I'll keep it.

Ahh if only the real airport had that simple gate markings on it.

I thought the modelled ones were confusing enough :o Interesting to hear someone with RW knowledge say the real thing is worse.

Yep, all non standard markings all over the place, it's a mess when it rains

I did wonder what that broad pink semi-circle meant
The author's readme did say that while NZNV could handle a 757, it was not a good idea to spawn one there.

You could probably do it on gate 3A as that's what Airnz uses for the 320 when they divert there, as the the pink semicircle that goes through gate 3 I have no idea if that's a very recent addition. I could be for wing spacing for gate 3A but other than that
