Made for FSX, P3D... and FS9!
Goodonya lads, each sim has its followers; after this I will not be told you can't split the development 3 ways after you've done all the groundwork.

Now all that's missing is a Pacific Wave repaint, an FS9 NZAA, and we're flying the way we remember!
Crowdfunding, anyone?

Well everyone wants a crack a Boeing, not that I need one PMDG dose me fine, but I guess it would be a lot cheaper so iFly with my little eye something beginning with Boeing.

Nice one aye. I've never splashed out on the PMDG 744 as I don't fly many long haul routes so am super keen to see how iFly price this one.

I do also have the PMDG FS9 747, its good someone is working on a cheaper jobbie .

I have the old FS9 PMDG 747 (which really got me started in flight simming) and I'm a beta tester for the iFly747.
It really is an awesome aircraft with some great features. The FS9 version will breathe life back into that platform.

Good stuff, I'll most likely be looking at it over the PMDG version - depending on how far away each is

One of the good things about the iFly team is that they keep improving and updating their products as much as possible and with excellent support. The PMDG product will be excellent as well...it just could be a long time coming.
Do any of the PMDG products support a RF leg type yet? The iFly 737 and 747 do and make for some good RNP approaches.

I don't think the do. Does the iFly 737 have RTA implemented?

I love the 747 so I'll probably get it just for that reason, but I would have like to have seen them do something that hasn't already been done numerous times before. There is a lot of aircraft out there just waiting for a modeller...

I'm so pleased to read a thread with nothing but good words for Ifly. They really deserve it. I am a huge fan of their 737 in both FS9 and FSX. I'm keen to see what they can offer in the 747 dept too. Good luck to them.

You know Alister, I'll be buying this MOSTLY because of your feedback over the last year or so on the iFly 737. I know you how much time you spend in it and that you will have given us an honest appraisal.
Plus with CP on the Beta team this thing is gonna rock !!

See, these days my (somewhat abbreviated) flightsimming involves loading up a nice new plane to see what it looks like, pressing <Ctrl-E> to hear what it sounds like, and then flying a few circuits to see if it handles as I imagine the real thing would.
90% of this would happen in spotview, so as to see the lovely new scenery I have just installed.
Perhaps a screenshot would follow.

I do not have time in my life to do justice to a fully-simulated high workload airliner!

The last and only aircraft I ever worked through comprehensively was the Aeroworx B200.
I am still pretty current on it, but it was enough.

If I wanted to be an airline pilot, I would've signed up 10,000 hours ago.

This does not stop me greatly admiring guys who like Alister fly vast distances in authentic ways, but me? not advanced enough.
