The whole west coast of the USA and California is a stunning and beautiful area to fly, and is perfectly suited to high-resolution photoreal scenery that only MegaSceneryEarth provides over massive scales. Be sure to add this San Francisco Ultra-Res City pack to your MSE 2.0 collection, or start it now with this title. We know that once you are flying over San Francisco with MegaSceneryEarth Ultra-Res textures, you will not want to go back to other non-real scenery types!

Ultra-Res Cities take MegaSceneryEarth realism to a whole new level with unprecedented native 50 cm resolution scenery for larger cities and Terminal Control Areas.

This titles gives you the city by the bay, the San Francisco and it's Terminal Control Area (shown by the chart link below) around 7,000 square miles of the all displayed at 50 cm per pixel.

The realism is simply stunning. You can fly this scenery and it remains clear right down to lower altitudes of around 500 feet. Perfect for helicopter flying around cities as well as cross city shorter flights in light aircraft or for ultra-realism while approaching and landing at a Terminal Control Area in a big jet.

This terminal area can co-exist with your California complete state scenery. Place the Ultra-Res city above the state scenery in your scenery library.

So you can get full enjoyment from your San Francisco Ultra-Res city we also provide a complete set of PDF charts for the state of California. The most important one for VFR navigation in the area is the San Francisco Terminal Area Chart.

To get a preview you can download the charts from here. The chart shown is the exact area covered by the scenery.

Out of interest... smile.gif ....

Most all of my daily flight Simming for the past 15+ years, has been located in and around the State of California; and San Francisco and Los Angeles in particular..(since Flight Unlimited II)...!

The most wonderful varied scenery to be found anywhere!

..especially with my OrbX FTX Global mesh, Ultimate Terrain USA, and California Classic Scenery for both my FS 2004 and FSX...>>> http://www.calclassic.com/scenery.htm

A wonderful experience in Flower-Power territory!

...try it...you'll like it!.... winkyy.gif ...!

(Just be wary of the residents down below!)..... unsure.gif ...!

Paul...Cal Flyer.... biggrin.gif ...!

P.S...a bit of a dampner... unsure.gif.... As a low and slow, general aviation pilot, I'm not too fond of "Photo-scenery", preferring auto-gen scenery when near, and on the ground!

Since flying the various Microsoft Flight Sims since 1995, and finding that Bill Gates and his scenery designer chums have no idea whatsoever what Great Britain actually looks like, I decided to transfer to California after seeing what San Francisco and Silicon Valley looks like from the air in the lovely Looking Glass Studios; "Flight Unlimited II", and I have remained there ever since, enjoying the Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley wines...HIC!.... drool.gif ...!
As most of the Microsoft scenery designers lived around Silicon Valley, that's probably the reason why California scenery in the Flight Sims always appears so accurate!

I now know every inch of California!....and every Napa Valley wine label... biggrin.gif ...!

Paul...with flowers in my hair.... laugh.gif ...!

The "Pink Ponds" are the Mowry Slough... The colour varies from Pinks to browns to rich golds at times. Google image search Mowry Slough and have a look at some interesting photos smile.gif

A very damp and water-logged area, south of San Francisco Bay!

It shows up quite well in the Flight Sims!

Near Palo Alto, and Moffett Federal, airfields.

Similar to Central Valley around of the Sacramento River...

....Hello Ian!

I have always enjoyed taking my Flight Sim Chums on tours around San Francisco...and indeed the whole of California, in my Multiplayer Flights over the years!

There's nothing quite as exciting as a Fozzers Tour of the whole of California in the air.....(or on the ground on a Harley Davidson!)......

Reduced prices for Old Folks/Pensioners....(No small children or screaming babies allowed)....

Napa Valley wine..red or white...provided en-route...

Book a flight here.... biggrin.gif ...!

Paul....Cal Tours Limited.... laugh.gif ...!
