Hiya everyone. I have completed the first skin for Bill Lyons FS9 freeware 'Goose' Sea Bee Air ZK-ENY.

The model has a few quirks in terms of how it assigns textures, as you see in the screenie the rudder trim is yellow, and the pontoon struts are as well. I have no idea what portion of the skin these parts are drawing textures from, so while this is frustrating when trying to provide accuracy, the reality is there is not alot I can do about it. You might also note the text appears stretched, so while not perfect  , it will need to do for a start, or until Trolly returns B) given this is a request from him.

For those who are desparate to try her out, you can download just the new skin and aircraft config file data HERE.

Install:

You will need the goose installed, make a copy of one of the texture folders, rename texture.SEABEE or summin you'll remember. Then copy the new skin into the texture.SEABEE folder, clicking yes when asked if you want to overwrite the current file. Now open the Goose aircraft config file, and the aircraft.config.text file that came in the zip. Copy the text into the aircraft config file, change the X to the next number. In the line 'texture=' type SEABEE or whatever the name of the folder you copied earlier, make sure they are the same name or the skin wont appear.

Try it out and see what you think. Cheers.

Choice! :D

Great work Jon, I just tried it in my sim and it works perfectly- no blurring or nothing- and the yellow wing struts look pretty neat too- like they were meant to be that colour.

Thanks heaps mate
