Wellington runway closed down early this afternoon. A Mount Cook ATR flight NZ5038 from Dunedin to Wellington had a fire warning light come on
All emergency services called out. Plane landed ok but engineers could not find any fire .All passengers disembarked.

Spent all day wondering why 5 Fire tucks, 5 ambulances and 2 police cars sped passed us. First thing one lady nears us said was "Maybe and aeroplane crashed". haha, have some faith.

Good thing nothing too serious then.
