I find that happens when your system is overloaded graphically, as has been suggested, turn autogen and mesh off. It will still happen occasionally.

This is why so much work was put into ensuring the models we are using are fine tuned and set up specifically for the Airshow. I know some people have questioned the approach we have taken, but there has always been a method to the madness.

Youll still have hills even with Mesh all the way down, they are just not overly defined. I have been running the servers with everything set to 0 other than texture size which is maxed, and scenery detail level which is maxed. Perfromance has not been a problem at all which I am pleased with, I even added some autogen last night since the perfromaqnce hit the models are making is lower than I expected, so the effort put in has been worth it.

Just while we are on the subject of performance, ive noticed the sim is quite jerky when online...

The actual frame rate is OK but around every one second the sim will jerk- Ive also noticed this in scenery where ive added library objects.

Its either a) Online flight (im on dialup) causing it (havent noticed it before)
or b) The library objects causing it...

Anyone else having that problem?

Interesting, dial-up and voice dont usually go together that well, these models might be adding to that as well. Be interesting to see what responces we get. I havnt found the jerkiness myself at this stage.
