This depends on whether or not I'm 'on duty'. Since credit cards are processed manually, this can take from 2 minutes if I'm at the computer when the order is made, a couple of hours if I'm out and about during the day, or overnight if the order is made after I quit for the night.

As people have pointed out, Paypal is instant, so should be the payment method of choice for overseas folk who are more likely to order when I'm tucked up in bed... So if you truly MUST have it right now!, then Paypal is the way to go.

You shouldn't need to back up anything- The installer will do it for you. If however, you are reallllly paranoid about this kinda thing then: In Scenery\Global\Texture there are three files which can backed up (After install you can switch them back on with the VLC config tool included). They are veg_Palm1.dds; veg_tropical1.dds, veg_tropical2.dds

I've heard a few bad things about Paypal, but for me it's always worked perfectly and, as Rob says, it's nigh on instant. I use it mainly for online flight sim stuff ... RealNZ, Captain Sim etc.

UPDATE: Just did the Paypal dance. All went straight through with no problems. The d/l is enabled automatically ... grabbing now!

Flying up the coast of WU is so realistic.
