18 March 2007 -- Marlborough release date

[ After a lot of consideration, I've had to re-evaluate the release date for 'Real New Zealand Marlborough'. This is solely due to health issues, which have slowed me down enough to effect the release date significantly. At the moment I have no release date in mind.

I'm still fully committed to the scenery, and I would hope that the delay will be minimal. However working towards a specific release date at the moment adds an element of stress which I'd be better off without. ]

Health must come first Robin. The end result will be worth waiting for.

Too right. I know someone who had to have their hands out of use for two weeks because of RSI (repetitive strain injury - I think)

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

I had to scale back my opperations a while back due to a prostate/diabetes/heart condition related health scare, very scary but turned out to be possibly stress related.

Seconded! Thirded? I dunno.....

Get well soon Robin, take as long as you need. We may all be extremely keen to take RealNZ Marlborough for a spin (  ) but I think I speak for all of us when I say that we'd be more keen to see you personally in tip-top condition. :( :(

EDIT: Pre-ordered my copy a little earlier this morning. Can't wait! Woo!

The FS2004 version is complete, there's just some final FSX tuning to fix some issues caused by SP1 changes.
I am aiming to have this completed by the end of this week, and ready to ship as soon as the final beta test is complete. (FS2004 test is underway, and progressing well.)
SP1 is a bit of a hurdle -- some things it fixed, and the scenery just wouldn't work without the fixes, but other things have cropped up. Nothing which can't be dealt with, I hope.

*bounces off walls in anticipation*

Mind you, now that I actually live in Blenheim, and can visit the real thing whenever I want (basically), I shouldn't need it.....bah, who cares? BRING IT ON!

GO ROBIN, GO!

Ok, some thoughts on delivery times.
Although the release date is tomorrow, subscriptions will be filled first, and will take 2 or 3 days to fill. Pre-orders are next, so I would imagine that everything would be up to date this time next week.
Please don't even think about querying delivery until next Wednesday:) I'll be flat out.
I must admit I don't know how long it takes to get to Australia -- they go airmail, so I would think 3 days?
