Wow, Carenado should be quite worried.

My only "complaint" is that the 182 is just a "beefed-up" 172 basically, isn't it? I wish they would do a SuperCub or a Zenith one day.

The comment about being too similar to the C172 is right on the money. Why not the RG version?
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

That would the better choice, Scott said 5 years working on it - I do have fun with there Cessna and Piper, RG Cessna would a better approach.

Originally more of a trike version of the 180 - both used the O540 engine which ran on red (80/87) gas.

Dave , i can recall running my old 57 Vauxhall Velox on 100 octane ...always had a nice white tail pipe .
We used to keep all the water test stuff and save it up , come to think of it , the old girl was painted in RNZAF paint as well .... same blue and white as the Hercs back then.
The 100 was good , but a bit hard on valves , and it used to leave a tell tale green tinge around the carb.

I ran my 87 Laser on 100/130 for a little while. It really went like the clappers. Love it when people with fuel cards owe you favors...

Deeknow , i can recall running an old Hillman Hunter on the part contents of a drum of 115/145 octane (it was purple from memory) who knows why it was in the drum store , but we pinched it and filled up the hunter (course car) and headed south to Ohakea from Whenuapai ... as Chopper nut said about his Laser , it went like a rocket ..... as far as Hamilton when a few of the valves turned to dust and went out the exhaust pipe .
Harry the hunter died feeling like a Ferrari winkyy.gif
I think i just confessed to chargeable offence ninja.gif

Mmmm... me neither now that I see the price. Am sure its a great simulation but I just wouldn't spend enough time flying it.
I spose if you were doing your PPL it might be of use as a supplementary thing?
