Aw i had done this to my grass in Taupo which works well though i am not going to have this much cover which seems to be a impact on my system ,the trees etc are very cool ,the sounds which i have made before with some test stuff are pretty cool i just had a problem keeping them within the airport and not effecting the world lol ,i like the way orbx are doing things like this makes me think more when building a environment for flightsim and wanting to learn more on seasonal modeling which i dont do at the moment ..

I found that sound makes a huge difference. At Ant's Lady Elliot Island you can hear the birds chirping and the breeze blowing gently through the trees, really makes it feel good. smile.gif

All this orbx eye candy is great for video's and screen shots but it does little to change realism once your a few hundred feet of the ground where grass blowing in the wind is irrelivent.

When you fly choppers it's bit different story :-)

I don't remember leaves falling off trees being essential to flying a helicopter at any level...

I think having the detail there is good, but all that animation is a bit wasted unless it's doing something like blowing smoke/blowing trees with the wind to indicate wind direction.

If it was even possible with FSX. Maybe MS Flight should have that!!!

I agree smoke/blowing trees will be much more relevant

FSX does blow smoke/effects depending on wind direction and strength I think (at least I seem to remember it did when I was testing out the steam effect for White Island)
