And finally a portrait of a gentleman I drove many times, Air Vice Marshal David Manson Crooks CB OBE, Chief of Air Staff 1983 - 1986.
He was a really nice guy, put you at ease straight away. He went on to become CDS before he retired. Lived up in Rangiora.
