Shalom and greetings all my pals,

What is the first airline jet plane for any New Zealand based airline in history of New Zealand, please? For example, the first airline jet plane for any Finland based airline in history of Finland is Caravelle for Finnair and the first long haul or wide body jet plane for any Norway based airline in history of Norway is Trans Polar 707.

So wondering what is first airline jet plane for any New Zealand based airline, please?

DC-8-50 series with TEAL/Air New Zealand in 1965.
I’ve been in the cockpit of one on the way to Fiji when I was about 12 ... flight back was in a DC-10-30
