Just a few that may be of interest. Im working through a huge release from the Air Force , so more to come.

Ok, here we go ....NZ3907 as she has never looked again. Snapped in Bouganville during operation "Belisi" Nov/Dec 1997.

Even the dear old Andovers got themselves into hot spots ....unsure of the number (but wouldnt be hard to find) . This one from 42 Sqn had her photo taken on the "tarmac" at Mogadishu, Somalia during operation Samaritain in 1993.

Same place (Somalia) , but no party is complete without a herc ...NZ7001.

The Mog again ..... and the force protection guys....looking a little bored.

And one more from home , Herc to Herc shot taken during exercise SkyTrain in 1997.

I knew/worked with a few guys that went to Mog. Not a glamourous place to be and the camp was situated close to the runway. So on top of dust and heat, you had constant aircraft noise. Thankfully the deployment only lasted 5 months. Huge respect for those that went.

Thanks Deane , I know a couple who went there, but Army, not RNZAF.
As you said "Huge respect for those that went" the stories they(the Army guys) tell, certainly dont line up up with a holiday overseas.
Thanks for looking.
