Guys,

I got an odd bit of technical difficulty that has me baffled and I'm hoping one of y'all know what is going wrong and how to fix it.

Lately, when I record a movie in Windows MovieMaker, once the full movie is saved in WMV format to my hard drive, it is in black and white. It doesn't matter what player I use (Windows Media Player, Winamp, Itunes) - they all show in B&W; however when the movie is uploaded to YouTube, it's back in color.

Any idea what's wrong with my settings or comp?

Thanks,
ShadowMystDK

Sounds like your wmv codec is stuffed and configged to display in B&W... whereas the Flash Video Codec (ie. YouTube vids) are configged to show in colour...

Have you installed one of the codec packs like CCCP or K-Lite??

I can highly recommend CCCP.

Thanks,
I tried the CCCP codec pack, installed it, and even used their player, and it still don't work sad.gif. I had installed Windows Media 9 earlier to fix it as well.
I'm not sure what it is doing it, but even movies I know were recorded in color are showing up in B&W - in all 3 players.
