Can anyone tell me what Pixel Shader Ver is, and how to get an updated version, as i took the test at NZone.com to see if my computer can run FSX and it said: Pixel Shader Ver.: Required - 2.0 , You have - 1.4,
Does anyone now what it means or what to do?
Thanks

Pixel shading is performed by your graphics card, and in FSX it is controlled by DirectX. DirectX 8 supports up to Pixel Shader 1.4, DirectX 9 supports 2.0. It sounds like your graphics card is not DX9-compliant. If it is, then your DX version may need to be updated.
What is your graphics system?

I don't think your graphics card supports DX9. You'd need to upgrade the graphics card to use FSX.
