Following the wildly successful Tickey Tour of NZwith the (temporarily diverted) GMax Academy C-17, there was some criticism of the model - too shiny.
There's a fix in a utility called MDLC MDL Converter by Ivan Hsu.
It's meant for CFS2, but seems to de-shine FS9 models OK.
Here's the proof:

and I now have quite a nice low-sheen model.
Actually I've grown to like it a lot.
It does authentic things, like proper groundhandling

It's a very big aeroplane, and since I've hijacked my own thread I may as well show one of my World-Famous-in-NZ scale comparisons - makes a C-130 look positively Minor

Good Compare Charl , these things can turn , reverse , climb gradient while backing up , the ramp alone can lift a C130 payload , to see its aerial display , amazing for its size , some remarkable approach,s into Christchurch from the Ice .

Great work on the shine though, it looks much better now.
