I just got so sick of that message that I deleted the actual fssound.dll file in the end, doesn't seem to have had any negative effects on my FS installation...

I think the most it does is the clicking sound when you click on a switch, a switch or something on a panel, some panels won't work at all with out it. Its not really important.

Thanks

I think from memory you're using Vista. I don't have FS installed on Vista, so I don't know the exact location.

XP is C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9

I think then that Vista will be: C:\Users\Username\APPData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9
I think that will be it, but not 100% sure. If not that, try the other folders that appear in the APPData folder. You will also need to be able to view hidden files and folders winkyy.gif

Or if you still can't find it, just do a search for "fs9.cfg" smile.gif

Vista is: C:\Users\Tim\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9 (obviously, change 'Tim' to your username)

AppData is a 'hidden' folder, so make sure you have the 'Show Hidden Folders' option selected.
