Hey ive just done a little up grade on my standard comp so i hope i should be able to run fs9

My old system was 2ghtz intel cerleron ,256 ram with inbuilt graffics and it killed the comp lol

I now am running a brand new mother board with a AMD Athlon64 X2 3600
With 1gb DDR2 ram,400w psu, and a MSI GEforce 6600 dimond edition

so if anyone one could give me some advice on what i should have the seetings at and anything else that would be great :)

Cheers :plane: dazza

With FS9 I'd try setting most (if not all) of the sliders to the far right, you should get quite good performance. If not, just adjust the sliders down until you are happy with it. :)

just the normal type settings will be sweet
anti -alis 4x on the card
A filtering 8x on the card
and play with performance /quaility settings on the card settings too

then in the sim settings turn off anit-alis all together and change biliner filtering to triliner filtering ,also there are some changes to the cfg that you will find around from robin corn to help things load,, if you have any of the realnz scenerys it will be in a little blue book or in the readme help files on the cds ..

also like alex said just play with sliders to see what is good id expect you to have clouds at 50% 3d maybe and scenery settings at agn normal -dense and scenery complex at about the same
turning the sound setting to low will help also
and lens flare off
dawn dusk mite aswell off too unless you need them
water effects is up to you but all of the above will effect performance in the end at its what you are happy with at the end of the day
hope this helps
