How do I bind function keys to my joystick in X-Plane 11?
Posted: Sat Jul 27, 2019 5:58 pmI'd like to bind some of TrackIR's function keys to my TM Warthog stick so that I can retain full functionality in X-Plane. But X-Plane's calibrating does not seem to offer the option of keyboard bindings, nor are the stock functions diverse enough to offer anything comparable.
For instance, the F9 key in TrackIR freezes the view at wherever I am looking. Nothing in the list of X-Plane's options does this. STILL SPOT merely locks the view straight ahead, regardless of where I am looking. LINEAR SPOT seems to do the same.
Of course, I could just stick with F9 on the keyboard but that requires me to take my eyes of the screen and fish around on the desktop.
