Screen flicker with weather update FS9

I stumbled across this in the AVSIM forum area under FS2004.

Quote: "To prevent or reduce that annoying screen flicker in FS9 when the weather updates do the following:

In FS9.cfg, in the [Display.Device.] section, add this line:

PanelAsTexture=0

By adding the PanelAsTexture line, your performance will even increase specially with 2d panel 3rd party aircraft, it may cause 2-d panels to blank out if you've enabled AA inside FS2004, uncheck AA in fs2004, and enabling AA from your preferred tweaker or your driver display setting" Unquote
