Gentlemen, I am in need for technical assistence

I have FS 2004 (and FSX) in use. The problem is only in FS 2004. After installation of Igor Suprunov´s Yak 40 under 64-Bit Home Edition for the first time. Meanwhile it pleaged me. But... I did not want to kill this aircraft. What can I do? Yesterday I have flown a flight from Ulan Bataar to Beijing icon_arrow.gif OOM near Beijing. I was underway with the brandnew Avro RJ.

Hardware: I have a Dell I5 760 with 6GB RAM, Grafic Board is an ATI 5450.

Are you running FS9 & FSX on independent HD's or least partitioned drive , this is the first problem that rears its head , bleeds thru corrupting operation of the older FS9 on reinstall .

Other problem is using to the 64Bit in Win7 with FS9 , a few members here have the Yak40 so may be of more help .

FS 9 and FS X are on the same Partition... for years... But it is a variant. Hope, we can find a solution. The internet is full of "hints" but... it was junk.

Andrea , I had the problem with many addons from both Flightsims that caused them to crash due to the many payware and freeware scenery and aircraft , the early days of FSX pre SP1/SP2 the sims were hand in hand and very stable but on release of the Service Packs they grew away causing all sorts off problems , very sure this maybe the same - what the problem is with now running with the FS2004 YAK40 package .

Win7 Aero..Seems to reek havoc have you tried disabling!

When Aero is running on my system I get a HIGH CPU usage even though AffinityMask=255 is set for multiple CPUs. Lets face it FSX is an Old old program. Waiting for Prepar3d New release.
