Somethings not right with my moniter. When i was on Vista, I could run my moniter at 1280x1024 resolution without any trouble. Now on windows xp, even trying to run it on 1024x768 I am getting a blurry picture. Its like trying to change the screen resolution when you dont have any video card drivers installed.
Anyone know what could have happened?

maybe your refresh rate is set too high? how about drivers for your monitor?

nope, its not the refresh rate. Perhaps it could be drivers, but I wouldnt have a clue where to get drivers for an old Philips/Dell 17" CRT.
