Yes, it finally arrived in 3 heavy parcels! Anyway, I was trying it and its just weird.
It comes with windows vista rc1 installed, and i hate it. I just cant get the hang of microsofts new windows. They changed EVERYTHING. Feel like changing your screen resolution? Well you cant just right click on desktop anymore... you have to go to start menu and search through the options, go into control panel, system, graphics settings, blah blah blah. I havnt even worked out how to change the background yet

Ill probably scrap vista and install xp pro (which also came with the computer) in the weekend.

Also, I cant get my wireless network to connect. I have installed the card, uninstalled it, moved the wireless router right next to the computer, moved it back, unplugged it, everything, and it still wont work. But the thing is, it did work when I first started it up. Could someone help me please.

I tried some games on it. Lets just say, its very limited by the geforce 7300gs video card. It was playing Need For Speed Most Wanted perfectly fine, 1280x1024 resolution, full graphics, then once I turned on Anti Aliasing even just a little bit, the thing slowed down to a crawl. I am definately gonna have to upgrade some time soon.

As for cooling, Im sure its gonna be no worries with that. A 12cm fan on the front sends cold air in, and a 12cm fan on the back sends the warm air out. There is also a huge fan (15cm) on the cpu, and a little fan on the video card and one other one on the mobo.

Overall, not a bad machine, and I think im gonna have heaps of fun with it.
If only I could get the wireless working...

RC1 is outdated anyway. microsoft said themselves that it wasn't really a release candidate, rather just a beta. RC2 runs way faster.

anyway, I uninstalled vista. To be honest, it was just plain and utter crap. Really a Beta version and nothing else. Error messages, crashes, and not being able to install anything because "You are not running Windows as you operating system".

Problem is, XP wont start up. It goes through all the usual black screens with all the stuff on them, then it says Boot from CD/DVD like it always does and doesnt go past that.
Someone help. I wouldnt have a clue what to do now

Check to see that you've set up your BIOS boot order correctly. If I remember I once had a similar problem, there was some unusual CD in the drive and the PC was trying to boot from that. Just check (if you have installed XP correctly), that the hard drive is above the optical drive in boot order.

No problem, basically when you enter the system startup screen at initial power-up, somewhere on the screen there will be a 'Push Fx to enter BIOS', for me I'm pretty sure its F12. Then you'll have to browse through the pages and find the boot order somewhere, I'm sorry I can't give you more precise instruction but the layout differs between each manufacturer...

Oh ok, thanks, yea like I say its hard to give precise instructions to due manufacturer differences.

Ok guys thanks for all the responses. I got it installed. Not sure what I did, but hey its working now. Lets see if installation makes it all the way

hold down the ALT key and type 0246 on your numpad.
