Hi Keith
Welcome to NZFF, where we are all 'elderly'....
What exactly prevents you from installing it? Is there an error, or does something else stop you?

Hi ya Kieth, a thought, did you have the PC turned off with only the Laptop connected to the internet, this should pick you standard IP address and will install , I have my one copy of FSX on my three computers, one being a laptop and installed fine this way.

Ah, ok, that makes sense, I assumed you'd uninstalled it from the PC. Best solution is to buy another license, which these days probably means FSX Steam Edition currently NZ$8.99.

You should still be able to install it on a laptop, I've been able to install mine and also a friends on both a desktop and a laptop. This makes me wonder what sort of laptop it is - maybe it's a Chromebook or some other non-pc laptop?

yeah technically Keith you are supposed to have a separate license for each machine. I bought 2 of them coz they're pretty cheap really when you think about how much you spend on other add-ons after buying FSX itself.

Very surprised here , three PCs all under my name and yet I use one Licence FSX ... and one on the laptop still no issue only prob there was the AGN editing other than that under the same person licence all works perfectly fine .... I guessing if someone else in the household uses the PC's and has admin rights will cause these problems.
