FSX Outside Views/Locked Spot

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Flight Simulator FSX.
The position of the viewed aircraft from the 'Locked Spot' view, is looking from a slightly elevated point at its front/starboard quarter.
Is there any way to change the place of the viewing aircraft to an alternative position, as the default?
Had this option ever been available in the earlier versions?

'Locked Spot' .. every model comes with different alternatives .. the defaults for example ... try the combination of the four keys on your right hand side on your keyboard - Ctrl - Shift - Enter - and Backspace or a combination 2 X 3 .. they are your default camera keys .

Thank you for your reply.

By combining your suggestions along with reference to the Learning Centre keyboard commands, the Locked Spot default setting for the Cessna Skyhawk 172SP is solved.

It was Ctrl + Spacebar.

The chase aircraft could be re-positioned using the numerical keys with NumLock on.

The keys to Zoom in (=)and out (-) were reset to the default distance with Backspace.
