hi guys i have recently purchased a nVidia 6600 gigabyte card and am wondering if the new card will make a bigger diference when running fsx as opposed to my current card that is a ATI RADEON X300se so any help or advice would be welcomed

Depends on which version of the 6600 you have... and what sort of CPU you have... how much RAM etc.

FSX is a complex beast, and there is no simple 'change one component' solution to getting it running like FS9 does now ;)

whilst a 6600 will be an improvement over x300, i doubt whether it'll be significant enough.
I assume you've got a PCIe slot, and not an AGP slot

a 6600LE is a budget model. go for a 7600GS, it'll give quite a bit more speed.
