Ian Warren has been having a look at VLC around Dunedin, there's screenshots somewhere --he rang me and asked me to check something out, so I flew to Dunedin for a look. When I reached Mosgiel my flatmate recognised the area, and directly me inland to Lake Mahinerangi. I remember going there when I was first married (my wife's dad lived in Lawrence) but I really forgot what an amazing place it is.

Heck , at times you would think this Land class really is photo real .

Just a note for those eagle eyed amongst you- The double-up of the roads you can see in one of the shots has been fixed (it was a dud exclude file so what you are seeing is the original roads + VLC roads)

Wow....looks like you've taken some actual aerial pics of Lake Mahinerangi! Can remember going fishing up there a few years back, dig out a big fat Mahinerangi worm for the hook, catch some mean trout and perch! Oh, and lying back waiting for some bites, snoozing and being waken by the early afternoon Freedom Air flight arriving from Oz as it's about to enter the valley on it's approach! Good times....and bought back to life by the wonderful world of FS!
