Am keen to see what VLC is going to do for Northland, do we have any beta testers up this way willing to share some screenies? smile.gif

Here is a photo I got this morning up here. Just felt the need to offer something positive here instead of just ask for a favour lol

Im awaiting some updates to the VLC till then you will have to wait tongue.gif , i can tell you its just as accurate as anything else youve seen in screenshots of VLC ,green when its green roads where the roads are and coastal shaping the list goes on ,you and many others will be happy im sure winkyy.gif

I took a flight from Whangarei myself, but I don't know the area at all -- you be the judge. It certainly looks like a nice place to visit.

Wow, that is some awesome scenery within FSX!
Can't wait, even more now lol
Oh, the photo is taken just a tad west of the town Hikurangi from the south side. Pretty sure it is known just as mount Hikurangi. And Hikurangi is just a few minutes north of Whangarei.
Thanks so much for posting these screenies too, this is more then I was even hoping for from VLC smile.gif

I should take a screenie of what stock looks like up here just so everyone can point and laugh at the difference.

FSX NZ looks a lot better even with the red baron mesh and topo. VLC will be a class of its own though.

Yeeehhhhaaaaa The native bush at last looks like native bush!!! not some oversized hybrid looking gum tree.
