Various VLCs

Information and support relating to this forthcoming New Zealand Vector Land Class addon.

A mixed bunch, for various reasons.

First up, I've been wanting to try the 'Southern Lakes Adventure' Aoraki mission with a real Coast scenery and bushline:

(The sound is turned off, so I don't need to listen to my commentary:)

Here's one of the many features of VLC which to me, redefines the sim by giving new ways to fly. One of the 3500 little accurately place airstrips throughout NZ. In the past I wouldn't be having much fun flying behind yet another default hill, but here's another reason for getting down low to explore NZ.

And a couple of Manapouri shots, now that the bush-line is pretty much completed.

Why do you keep teasing us with all these VLCs shots pirate.gif
There should be a prepay price put on for the full version then for members who pay in advance be given the test version and then let us update it every week or so until they get the final version. thumbup1.gif

Because I tend to get carried away sometimes, I mentioned this over at the SimPilot sub-forum, but moderated myself as inappropriate -- sorry, Christian.
Following on from the mention above of the airstrips, I've been exploring the idea of turning some of the airstrips into 'airfields', which will show up in the FSX airport list. Without runways, of course, to preserve the fun of landing on a slope in some cases...
As I said, this redefines the way you can fly in FSX. Here's another airstrip, at Kawerau -- this is an amazing place to fly around, and some really stunning strips.

Here I am dropping in for a picnic....
