First one looks like the A345 to me.

None from Brisbane so it seems, such a shame smile.gif

Looks like you had a great time, I would love to have a look inside the Concorde. Did you get to go inside the BAC-111?

Thanks for sharing!

Woah, there are heaps of new airliners outside on the ramp at Duxford that weren't there when I visited last. Fascinating day there for sure- hope you enjoyed your trip.

Good to see some shots from Gatwick (my ole 'local') too- I took this photo below from what I expect is the exact same location as you, when I was there a few months ago:

Also, what Easyjet A319 did you get? We had G-EZBK when me and my mate went to Berlin- perhaps the same ride you took to Rome!

Sorry, put the wrong link on the first one. Corrected Now. I put some more on that including a Brisbane shot on the way back smile.gif The BAC 111 was closed off along with all the other airliners out on the tarmac sad.gif

Andrew - How long ago did you visit Duxford? On Easyjet we got G-EZDN cool.gif

Cool shots. My guess is that you couldn't go in any of the cockpits at Duxford...?

Very cool photos, the Britannia is a stunningly beautiful aircraft, just a shame that most of them were relegated to hauling freight after a very short period of operations. I've been flying Jens Kristensen's FSX Britannia quite a lot lately, it's a bit of a slippery customer though - the damn thing doesn't like to slow down!

Awesome to see they've got an indoor hanger display for British Aviation at Duxford now as well. I remember walking into the US one for the first time when I went last and my jaw hit the floor......it looks like they've done a similar thing biggrin.gif

Must have been 8 or 9 years ago now, but I still remember that the first main hanger featured the history of British Aviation with the Concorde, Lancaster and Vulcan bomber.

Another great RAF museum worth visiting is RAF Hendon in North London which has a English Electric Lightning and one of the only TSR-2's in existance amongst it's collection.
