The Kittyhawk is a stunner and well done to the restoration team and to the future operators of the aeroplane.

Wow nice shots guys!
It's always great to see this sort of thing happening also good to see it's done in desert paint rather than seeing the same old flying tigers avg. smile.gif

Thoses A2A's are amazing- got any high res versions uploaded anywhere?

Also, next time you're up at Ardmore, give me a yell. Would be good to put a face to the name!

Will let you guys know when I am up that way next.
Was there just a few days ago taking photos of the aircraft below and that was fun.
Will be a while before I get back to Auckland but one or two visits are planned for later in the year.

No hi res photos of the P40 are out yet.
Once Classic Wings and Aeroplane Monthly have used them I will post a few.
Have one or two that I think are the best ones to share at some point.

Thanx Addict , its impressive what comes out the hangers at Ardmore ! I Wonder ... La's , Spitfires , Kittyhawks , shortly a Mossie? ... maybe we may see German , Japanese or Italian types in the future .

The P40 is in the back of this aircraft about to head home.
I think the crew member adds some real scale to the size of the Globemaster.

Will post more photos from the visit in a week or two.

The cover is the best descript of just how big the C17 is , think in a way , the large cockpit windows seem to shrink the plane down , mind you .. that could be a midget ground crew man rolleyes.gif
