Here is the first shot from the Air 2 Air flight with this very historic aircraft following its 8 1/2 year restoration.

Their is a great story covering the history of the Spartan in the latest Classic Wings magazine.

Nice Photo Gavin ! Mmm Mr Bob Mcgearys ? .. bracing wires i help make there , they were tested to 1.1 tonne stress break point , well above required level , 28 of this type ever built , 8 or so ended up in this country and probally 2 or 3 in flying condition now , part s are scatted all over Canterbury one in museum in Geraldine i think , idea to have interchangable wings in case of an accident , incidently a 3 seater biggrin.gif guess i'd better get the magazine .
