Hey Guys,

More photos. I was out at the airport today, a nice cool wind was blowing (about 40km/h I was told) thus some pretty rough landings as you will see in the pictures. Met jastheace out at the airport and had a great day, cheers Jason.

Pretty happy with these seeing as it wasnt the best day. Not my best, but still happy!

Shots taken with Canon EOS 40D and Canon 70-200 2.8 L, edited in Photoshop CS3.

Cheers Guys,

Ben

Great pics love the 2nd to last PB pic - worthy of Airliners.net ...make most of my virtual landings look pretty good! Interesting Qantas "Pink" scheme.

Nice pics ben. I guess you must have missed some piccies of the "ram-it-into-the-ground" type landing that was made by a QF 767 from perth which I was on late this afternoon... I still have a sore back laugh.gif

Sweet pics as always Ben - I see none of the Qantas planes that you've captured this time around feature the new livery with the italic title text and fat kangaroo on the tail.

Are QF planning on repainting the whole fleet, or only the brand new purchases? If the former- then what percentage of the fleet have been converted so far?

I've heard from ANZ captain's that this is a common issue with the 767, compared to the 747 and 777, where the main gear hangs forward rather than slants back (as can be seen clearly in the 4th pic down in this thread).
