A day in the life of a photog' doesn't get much more varied than that. Good ole Marlborough has got a lot going for it. Where was the Fatman flying and is it spreading Lime ?? Hope you were using a big telephoto - would not want to be standing under that !!

Yeah, three great shots..............

My way of "scaling" them is to ask myself - "would they make great desktops..?"

In this case, with your permission of course, I'd like to use the Freighter for just that purpose.

Great stuff.

Somewhere about 1960 (cough - splutter) I used to live at Kilbirnie. I used to drive to the seaward end of the airport and watch the Bristol Freighters stagger in when the winds were heavy. Talk about hairy flying, but they always made it.

The photos were taken at a vineyard in Seddon.
I had a good sized lens but didnt need it much mainly due to pattern being flown and a slight crosswind means I didnt get dumped on until the last load when I was driving out the gate biggrin.gif
My vehicle is now an odd white colour.

Great morning with a pilot you can trust, good sun position, and thinking outsdie the square makes all the difference, most fun I have had for a while.
