Even though you'll probably be groaning (...not again Alex...), I've got a few pics here that I took the other day while I met up with Daniel at the airport. Enjoy (or not). smile.gif

Vincent 1900C came through which was interesting.

This CTC Piper was doing circuits for around 2 hours probably...

EUD was going back and forth as usual...

That's all. smile.gif

Nice pics Alex.
I find ROT to be thoroughly boring, so i don't go out there much. Seeing something like VAE come in would be cool, but I think I'd get tired of the same old 1900D, Q300, AT7 and occasional 737.

I never realised how different the 1900C looked to the 1900D - the forehead makes all the difference.

Yea, I don't often head down there, but I met up with Daniel and had a chat and walk around for about an hour - otherwise I would have had a really boring Wednesday. laugh.gif

Yea, coming out of the C you almost have to double over, whereas in the D it's maybe three quarters. tongue.gif

Cheers Matt, thanks for the comment... rolleyes.gif

Yeah, I can barly stand up in the 1900D (well that was a long time ago, maybe not now), the C is just discraceful tongue.gif but IMO it looks way better, retro FTW biggrin.gif

Do you clean the insides or outsides of the planes VAC? I thought the rain would do the exteriors for you? tongue.gif

Na the exteriors mostly, the interiors are easy. We clean the undercarriage with kerosene and then the rest (especially where there's soot from the engines) with polish. The detergent ANZ use will create a wax over the soot if you don't get it off, which makes it harder and harder each time you try. The polish cuts through it and makes it shiny (although VAE wasn't looking particularly good that day- see the engine cowls).
