I got lucky biggrin.gif
Dad was flying today with fairly light loads, so I had a 5:30 start this morning to go with him on 2 Wellington - Tauranga returns in VA's Dash 8. The co-pilot was a new guy, Andrew, who is a kiwi that has just come back from the Caribbean flying as Chief Pilot for an airline in Antigua flying Islanders. I talked to him today about it and he's flown to all the famous airports, including St Barts and St Maarten each twice a day. I took a few pics on the way.

Excuse any of the blurry ones biggrin.gif

Watching the sunrise on our positioning flight to TRG:

Mt Ruapehu glowing, with the crater lake too.

On the way back:

On the ground after the trip:

Just had a nice new interior put in:

great pics, now how to get flight sim to look like that???!!! that nice shiny plane proberly adds a few knots speed and reduces fuel usage a little bit two, we have a pilot here who has just got his plane (piper pa-31) repainted, and he said that the new paint job added 4 knots and has reduced fuel burn by about 2 litres an hour

Wow, Ruapehu looks amazing in that early morning light- worth missing a lie in for ay?

Oh and the finals shot into Wellington is great too, love seeing a pilots perspective that I can compare to FS.

great shots.
Glad to see you put school before all else (same for me though tonights a disaster)

I started doing some maths homework which will end up taking an hour but then I had to fix the internet which boiled down to a faulty phone jack (I needed to switch to the second one) that took a grand total of nearly 50mins.
I still need to practice Trombone and Bass (combines 60mins) plus I need to do lots of Graphics and History work (a total of up to 5hours!!!!!) Man am I stressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool shots, I like the landing sequence. The light on Ruapehu looks pretty stunning too.
