Ahh yes I am sort of - I took these before I knew about the FSX Airtrainer (although that is a CT-4E - this is a CT-4B). Actually I wouldn't mind trying to make a model myself and thought the Airtrainer would be a good subject - but hey time and all I doubt that is going to happen.

Called in to the Classic Flyers Museum last school holidays on the way to Auckland. Awesome set-up there, and well reccomended to anyone passing through that way.

Cool pics Naki.
I was over there on the weekend and went up in the cub shown in your photos (BKA).
On the saturday they did a D -day thing with a few aircraft. The Harvard, Yak 52, Trojan and Cessna Drongonfly.
Were you there for that?

Another be the DH Heron , I think CBFS released one recently

Yeah great pics, I really wanted to go into the museum after the Sportavex while I was down there in the Summer, but my family wanted to climb the Mount instead! <_<

And is it just me, or do the engines on the Heron look so closely mounted that the propellers would be touching each other while spinning??

I remember walking around seeing a few of these.
Classic planes aren't/weren't my favourite aircraft but it was still pretty cool and so are these shots.

No I missed the D Day thing unfortunately - thought the weather was a bit too dodgy - I am annoyed now as I should of gone although I did see the Yak and the Trojan circle our suburb a few times. Any pics of your Cub flight? ... I am aiming for a flight in the Airtrainer

Nah the Sabre is a non flyer unfortunatley - it actually looks better than the L-29 ... until you take a closer inspection.

yea I do recall that model from some forum I lurk in - is the DH Heron model for FS9 or FSX?

Nope sorry, isnt much room in them and i didnt take my camera with me.
Remember the airtrainer is $245

For about 20-40 minutes im told.
I will have to try and meet up with you over at Tauranga sometime.
