yeah, all the rain seems to be doing is getting us wet!!!! the panel was in it's cold and dark state, and the pics didn't come out that well, she is a very, very nice chopper, makes the EC look tiny though!!!! the duchess looks surprisingly modern for an old a/c

I always find it interesting to see another person’s perspective of their place in the world, especially when it contains aviation photos!

Thanks for posting Jason, I hope you are enjoying the Ozzie lifestyle mate >ozflag<

04l and 04r (the two grass runways) could have been used by float planes yesterday, there was enough water on them!!!!

Cherokee Arrow and Diamond Star.
Nice to see Archerfield looking pretty much the same, used to visit it
4 times a month from my base at Stradbroke Island back in the early 80's.
Used to be a lot of old P2- stuff hanging about.

damn, and here i was thinking that it would be hard. i had a very good chat with the pilot of the arrow, they display is all linked to the gps and vice versa, apparently he has spent $65,000.00 on that and they are installing a weather radar to go with it, it blew me away just how much can be done with it, beats some of the small turbo props instrument wise!!!!
