Martin , I've just gone thru your entire series "PLAIN PERFECT" I would have love to see the F-5 team, those aircraft and the team would have have to be one of few left ... course the Whirlpool wholip of the CH-53 .. that would have made a seriously perfect day .. Just Brilliant !

The Russian Display Team was originally scheduled to participate, but in the course of the political events then they were silently removed from the event.

I think in this case the Swiss have asked them to please stay home. Crimea had not helped to up their popularity and it was considered delicate to offer their military force a show place in Western Europe.

I guess what is happening over the last year I guess its better not to invite ... I could imagine the commentary had they been invited
