Great flight up to Tauranga last night.

The big lady was in town yesterday, thought I would miss getting some shots, turned out she put on a show for me on our climb out..



Great distance definition over towards the Wairarapa..



And up the Hutt Valley..



Wind farm over Palmie North..



Which must mean we are near Ohakea...



The moonscape that is the volcanic plateau..



Lake Rotorua, is that Alex waving at us?

Were the little 'uns keeping station or was she dead slow?
There's a big difference in the amount of wake.

Wind farm over Palmie North..

Is it just my eyes or are they all on a lean, I always imagined a wind farm being in somewhat organisd straight lines, obveisly not. Must be to do with the terrain..

Great shots Jon, yea, you can almost see my house in the middle-left of the picture behind the cloud, if that cloud weren't there you'd be able to see me waving for sure.
