Hey guys,

Was just going through photos of when I went away down south, and I came across this photo. I've gone as far as saying it could be a Focke Wolf 109. Not too sure though. Anybody have the registration of it and some more info? Is it an original etc?

Cheers, Tommo

It's a Flugwerk 190 which is basically a new-build full-scale FW-190 which is true to the original in most respects but with a few differences, in particular the engine which is a Russian unit. About as close to an original as you can get without actually having an original.

Oh that's awesome. Do you have any clue who the owner is?

Same bloke owns the Sopwith Pup "PEGGY", a Fokker E.V replica underway and former AFC Spitfire XIV NH799. Quite the collection!

ZK-RFR 990001 Focke Wulf Fw190 A8/N was built by Claus Collings and the late Hans Wildmoser under the banner Flug Werk several were built and are a reproduction. ZK-RFR is owned by Murray Miers and is part of his Chariots of Fire collection based here at Omaka as stated above.

Some time back I was luck enough to get a closeup and personal with the office

I have also created a paint for the Classic Hanger FSX model of this aircraft

Just had to add this one for good measure.
